About us

History of NML

Founded to develop local leadership in the Sunraysia region, Northern Mallee Leaders Inc. began with a simple idea: our region’s future is brighter when locals lead it. Since 2008, we’ve guided hundreds of participants through our flagship Northern Mallee Leaders Program. Along the way, we’ve evolved with the community – adapting to change, responding to local needs, and always keeping people at the heart.

As part of the Regional Leadership Collective, we continue to innovate through shorter programs, events, and volunteer pathways – ensuring leadership remains accessible, relevant, and real.
